Long answer: Every single garment we ship is a customized, all-over-print project canvas engineered for physical transformation. The moment you take a pair of shears, a razor, or your hands to our fabrics to execute your custom style, that piece becomes uniquely yours. Because our garments are designed specifically to be intentionally altered and disrupted, all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on items that are meant to be beautifully wrecked. Plan your custom layout before you make your first cut!
What exactly is a "Digital Trading Card" and how do I get it?
Every shirt in our catalog comes with a random complimentary gift. One of the random gifts you may receive is a digital design card to a limited piece master deck collection. Think of your garment as the physical canvas and the Digital Trading Card as the official blueprint. The absolute second your checkout transaction is verified, our automated system triggers an email directly to your inbox or SMS to your messages. Inside, you will find your digital card download that is downloadable a single time. This collectible card contains the exact, tailored styling tips, custom alteration schematics, and creative ideas designed specifically for that shirt.
Do I need professional industrial equipment to alter these shirts?
Not at all! We engineered our collections to be completely accessible from your own desk. For our premium all-over-print (AOP) polyester lines, all you need is a pair of ultra-sharp fabric shears and some ribbon. No heavy sewing machines or factory tools required. Just creativity and a canvas.
Will my shirt fall apart completely if I wash it after cutting it?
No, provided you follow the rules of the studio! Our all-over-print garments feature highly durable, tightly woven fibers optimized to hold their structural integrity under clean scissor modifications. However, to keep your custom cuts looking sharp, we highly recommend washing your modified creations on a cold, gentle cycle and tumble drying them without heat or just letting them air dry. Avoid throwing high-stress cut edges into a high-heat commercial dryer.
I ruined my canvas. Can you send me a replacement?
Mistakes happen in the laboratory, but part of the beauty of Torn Trends is that there are no actual rules. If a cut goes wider than you intended, pivot the system! Turn a side-slash into a full lace-up ribbon corset. Turn a miscalculated crop into an asymmetric punk-rock raw hem. We do not replace canvases that have been altered, but we guarantee that with a little creative thinking, every single mistake can be completely rescaled into an elite fashion statement.
